The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in strength within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The latest chapter concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table includes Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might look unsuited, but the developments of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense initial meeting with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, attacking the rogue, and taking all the enchanted items to auction.

The antagonist then settled his debts and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, wants vengeance.
  • Kattigan is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a nasty location.
  • The warrior and The healer, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the group access areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the clan.

This results in them little choice but to head to the northern region in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to round up the Explorers and Planners tables.

Viewers can expect discovering which players will be in which group in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on October 24.
